Tuesday: today I was able to meet another one of our investigators who's name is Henry and is from the Philippians so that is super awesome he speaks mainly English and loves basketball as well. So after shooting hoops with him for a little bit we had a great lesson on the importance of coming to church. Then later it was off to contacting in the street and then phone calls to set some appointments up and then it was back to piso.
Wednesday: today we had a really good district meeting which went well then Ro_ brought us cookies that were very delicious. Then later in the meeting we focused a lot on having the faith to find. It's not a matter of convincing people but helping them remember the plan the chose along time ago up on the great counsel of heaven. Then we went out to eat with the other missionaries to a really good hamburger place and then it was back to the piso to study some Spanish and then back out to go have a lesson with J_ which went well he has such big desires to change his life around and come closer to our savior Jesus Christ.
Thursday: well just like every Thursday in the morning we started out with weekly planning and then it was off to help some one with a move. And man he just had stuff upon stuff that he kept saving it was crazy! But it was really nice to be able to give some good service to some one to help them know that there Heavenly Father loves them. Then after the movie we went out with a member to frozen yogurt and while we were there he started talking to lady in the shop about the church and about missionaries and got her number and address so that was crazy then he did the same with the man working in the shop. And then the First Lady came back to introduce us to a friend so that was legit. Then a lesson failed us so we went up to this lady on a bench and just started talking to her about the plan of salvation and the restoration and all of that great stuff. And we should have another meeting with her next week.
Friday: we had a great lesson with H_ about the plan of salvation and it went really well we had to go slow but I think he is starting to understand things pretty clearly now so that's really good. Then later we had a lesson with B_ and we had a help from Ju_ which was great he is basically the best member missionary I have ever seen. We just talked with her about the plan of salvation and about the scriptures and all seemed to click super easy for her so that was super cool. Then we had correlation to finish off the night and it looks like it is going to be a good transfer with the help from our ward mission leader.
Saturday: today we had a really cool miracle of finding through investigators. We had a lesson with Jo_ so we saw him talking with some friends so we said hi to him and he said just give me five minutes to say good bye to my friend and all be right there so we sat down on a bench and then he brought his friend with him and we talked to the both of them about Joseph smith and the Book of Mormon and it turns out that the friend took the missionary lessons before and basically just helped us testify to Jo_ so that was great. And we will meet with them both together next week again so we are looking forward to that.
Sunday: well church was really good and it was good being able to meet all the members and every one! There were several great lessons and talks and was just a perfect Sunday and only got better that night when we had a lesson with D_ and she starts the lesson of by saying so I have something to tell you guys. Then went on to say" I was reading the Book of Mormon and I was over come by peace and it was unlike anything I have ever felt before." It was so awesome so we just testified of the book and gods plan for us on earth. And then committed her to pray about being baptized. So that was my week here in the islands hope every one had a good week back home or in the mission field can't wait to hear from you all soon.
