Monday: well today started of by going to get hair cuts which was
great! Then it was on to go grocery shopping which actually went
pretty fast just about 15 minutes to get in and out. Then on to the
church where we played a lot of ping pong and foosball. So that was
great and then everyone wanted to go and get Chinese food so we did
that. Then back to the chapel to email for the rest of the day! So
that was great then we had a noch hogar where me and my comp taught
the restoration with a cup pyrimaid with a base of twelve so that was
super fun now every one thinks we are super cool!
Tuesday: well today we had a lesson with Do_ in the morning where
we talked about service and how we can show our love for God as we
serve his children which was good we also told him that service is a
way that he can conquer the temptations he has in his life! Then we
had a lesson with De_ where we talked about the atonement and shared
the new Easter video with her and talked about how we can find new
life through Jesus Christ. Then it was over to hermana Ju_ Ca_ house
for lunch where we had a vegetable soup and then chicken and rice.
Then it was on to do pass by's before contacting. Then pretty much
contacted for the last two hours of the day.
Wednesday: today started off with some pass by's then lunch at Fr_
house where we had spaghetti it was a nice change from all the rice
haha. Then we had a lesson with Ma_ where we talked about Easter
with her and that the atonement isn't just for our sins that she can
be relieved of all her pains from the past. Then we had a lesson with
Al_ and Ja_ where we talked about Easter and shared the new church
video and then talked a lot about prophets and the importance and great
blessing it is to have a living prophet today especially in this crazy
world we live in! Then we had a noche hogar with L_ and Ba_
family where we talked about the plan of salvation and eternal
families I am so entirely grateful for my family I am so blessed to
have them all in my life each one is such a great example to me!
Thursday: today was intercambios with elder arroyo! So that was
probably one of my favorite intercambios thus far! We actually got ten
new references from contacting in the street that was super great!
There was one man we stopped originally from Mexico but spent most of
his life in Spokane Washington so we stopped him in the street and he
told us that he is meeting with the missionaries has read the whole
Book of Mormon so that was cool so then I asked if he was visiting any
one in Spain and he said he was visiting his friend and that he wanted
us to come over and visit them and gave us the adress and the number
it was so cool! Contacting was just as good as fishing at deer creek
on a Saturday morning in July!
Friday: well today was zone conferencia where we talles about ha vino
the faith to find that was Really cool! Because often times it is hard
to keep a positive mind set while contacting because 3 days out of 5
it seems like it is just rejection after rejection. But then you
remember the promise you are given in your call to serve that there
will be people who are preparing to receive you and hear your message.
Then got my
Packages yes mom finally got the packages and they were absolutely
wonderful! Also got a few cards so that was nice as well. Then we had
a lesson with De_about the importance of remembering the atonement
and then invited her mom to church but she said she isn't ready to
come back yet. Then we had correlation and English class and then the
noche hogar where we watched a slide show of pictures of the primary
kids and talked about how important it is to teach your children the
gospel. Then ended the night with soccer with the kids and youth!
Saturday: today started off with a youth activity where we played some
ping pong which was great people are actually pretty good here in our
ward at ping pong haha. Then we played some football where we all had
a blast! Then played some uno after we were all a bit tired and ate
some pizza then we went out again and taught them how to more or less
play American football. Then pass by's then dinner of empanadas at
abuelitas and then contacting for the rest of the night and ran into
Da_ and he had a beer so we asked him to throw it away and he did
it was cool to see he was willing to do that.
Sunday: fast and testimony meeting then talked about spiritual gifts
in gospel principles which was good then after wards we talked about
the importance of youth going on missions and that was super great and
I am so greatful for my parents raising me to know of my important
duty as a priesthood holder of God to prepare myself and to serve a
mission to all those who are thinking about serving a mission I highly
encourage it after all Christ gave his life for us so why should we
not be willing to give two years or a year and a half to him? Well
that was my awesome week happy Easter everyone love you all!

Monday: well today started off great! Went over to pavones to play
football with a bunch of the other elders in the mission so that was a
blast like usual. Then we went and bought some food to sustain us
through out the week. And then it was time to go email which is always
so nice to see what every one is up to and so how every one is doing!
Then we went to El_ house for a lesson which is gypsy central and
they were all yelling at us and all that fun stuff. Then she ended up
not being home so we found a bus that would take us to the piso so we
could take a quick shower! Then it was off to Yu_ house to have a
noche hogar with him and his wife where we talked about the plan of salvation. Then we were
on our way home running up the stairs of the metro when I tripped and
busted my forehead open. At first I got up and told every one I was
fine then they all didn't believe me and it wasn't till I touched my
head and felt the stream of blood coming from a 4 cm wide gash that
went down almost or did go down to my skull. Then it was off to the
hospital where they told me I would need stitches. When we finally got
back into one of the rooms the nurse said it was so deep that they
would have to do two layers of stitches! Eight stitches in total! Then
finally made it back to the piso at 1 in the morning.
Tuesday: woke up with a massive headache from last nights fall! So we
stayed inside through medio dia however after that I could not stay
inside any longer so we went out and contacted for a bit. Then we had a
lesson with a recent convert about the importance the scriptures have
in our lives so that went well. Then we were suppose to have a lesson
with M_ G_ but that failed because she was in rehab for her
hand and knee so that was good. Then we had a lesson with Al_ and
Ja_ where we talked about the purpose of prayer then Al_ asked if we had
an extra Book of Mormon so that was cool and then he said he wanted to
give it to one of his friends so that was super awesome to see someone
I baptized already doing missionary work!!l
Wednesday: today started of with district meeting where the focus was
on using the scriptures as we teach. So started off with elder walster
giving a great spiritual thought on the power of prayer. Then hermana
Jimenez gave a talk on how to use scriptures in our lessons. Then we
did a practice where we taught the plan of salvation step by step
using the scriptures. Then we were suppose to have a lesson with Y_
but she wasn't home. Then we were suppose to have a lesson with L_
and B_ also were not home. So then it was off to the noche hogar at
An_ where we talked about Easter and watched the new Easter video.
Then caught the bus back home.
Thursday: today started off by going over to Al and Ja_ to get my
wound cleaned because there moms a nurse and the local doctor I went
to couldn't do it because we lived out of their area and that there
was some big problem since I was American I'd have to talk to the
consulate. So we just went to S_ instead haha. Then we had a ,Lesson
with Do_ about overcoming temptation which was super good he is a
true example to me he has been involved in just about anything you can
imagine and yet was willing to give it all up and not go back when he
found Christ! Then we had a happy bday party for elder chabot at
Ma_ and P_ so that was super fun. Then had a lesson with
F but that failed but that's okay because we ran into this lady
talking to some one on the phone and said the person was wanting to
ask us a question because she didn't know much English. So I talked to
him and told him that he could put his info on the church website and
could talk to the missionaries near him and told him about the church
and he said he is going to try to get in contact with the missionaries
there!
Friday: today started off with a lesson with Sh_ and Da_which
was awesome because Da_brought her two cousins. Then we talked
about the atonement and the two cousins did not know about that before
and they were super interested in it all and want to know more. Then
we ate some orange cake which was very delicious then we asked if
Da_ and her cousins wanted to go to mutual so they agreed. Then we
had lunch with Ab_ which was very tasty had a very good soup then
chicken potatoes and rice! Then later she brought out a huge cake for
mine and elder chabots bday that was great! Then it was off to our
lesson with De_ where she told us she's not ready for baptism and
doesn't want us to ask her to get baptized and when she's ready she
will tell us but that just makes me think of a quote from a talk that
says"there is a danger in the word someday when what it means is not
this day" then it was on to English class which was a lot of fun as
usual. And then on to the noche hogar where we talked about family
history then I talked to Ed_ and Je_ about byui because they
are both starting school their in the fall. Then off to play some foot
ball with the little kids!
Saturday: today in the morning we had two new investigators fail on us
so that's always fun haha not really then we went back to the piso to
make lunch where we had hotdog spaghetti by world famous chef elder
Kirby haha. Then we had a lesson with Al_ and Ja_where we talked
about the restoration since your suppose to go over the,lessons again
after some one is baptized so that was good hopefully this will help
Ja_ out as well.then we had a lesson with V_ which went pretty
well we talked about the plan of salvation with him and that he can
have the chance to live with his family forever as long as he follows
Christ path here on earth. So glad that we all have families that are
eternal or that can be eternal don't know where we would possibly be
or where could possibly get to with out our wonderful families!
Sunday: today at church I_ age 12 gave his first talk on the duties
of a deacon which went really well as he explained the great role the
deacons have to act in the name of Jesus Christ as they pass the
sacrament every single Sunday. Then hermana L_ gave a talk about
the importance of having prophets which was great! Then the stake
talked about general conference and the importance of watching general
conference to get guidance from the prophets. Then in gospel principles
we talked about the gift of the Holy Ghost and how feeling the Holy
Ghost are two different things. Then it was over to priesthood where
we talked about the why men need Easter so that was nice and then
tried to plan an elders quorum activity but that was a disaster so I
think the final plan was empanadas and saltinas for every one and then
soccer and volleyball. Then we went over to A_ for lunch where
we had rice and pulled pork. Then the rest of the day was contacting
and pass by's. Well that was my week in Spain can't wait to hear how
every one else is doing.

Monday: well today for my bday let's see what we did. The day started
off with having to go up to chamattin to drop off missionaries that
we're getting transferred. Then we wanted to go bowling but that was
closed for the day great start to a bday right! Then we went to go to
dominos but that was under construction so we had to travel to the one
in b9 and then my comp and the other missionaries chose the flavor
seven even though I asked if we could have Hawaiian. Then we got to email
for a bit which was probably the best part of my bday and also got to
play frisbee with De_ our investigator. So that wAs fun, me and her
destroyed everyone at ultimate frisbee! And then some contacting and
pass by's of old investigators until it was time to head back home.
Tuesday: well today is the day that we were suppose to pic up our new
comp. so we started off with going contacting because we didn't have
much time before we had to go to the training meeting in pavones, but
right before we headed up to the meeting the aps called and said that
we are no longer training because he was on a plan going home early.
So we were super sad about that. Then all of our lessons we had set up
all failed us but it was a wonderful chance to work on my patience and
that every thing happens on gods time. So lots of fun contacting until
it was time to go home.
Wednesday: today just might have been the best day of the week because
we got to go to the temple this morning which was just such a huge
spiritual recharge after our crazy day yesterday. Then we had district
meeting where the focus was on following the spirit as we teach. Then
we went over to Tamils house for lunch where we had this really
awesome pasta. And before we ate everyone was talking and his six year
old sister Sarah showed me some of her drawings and I asked her if I
could draw with her so we had our own little drawing class while
everyone else was talking! Then we met with yuri where we talked about
the plan of salvation with Domingo and then after gave her a
priesthood blessing which was wonderful. Then ended the day with a
noche hogar with the hermanas their less active and one of the rms
families about the restoration which went super great.
Thursday: well today like most Thursday's started out with weekly
planning which went well very long but really good. Then it was out
the door to head over to plaza elptica to make some phone calls and
then we headed over to Maria guenas to have a lesson with her about
courage then realized that we forgot the phone at the plaza for an
hour during the lesson but thanks from a great blessing from the lord
the phone was still there. Then we went to Alex and Jamie's where we
talked about following the profets so that was great with general
conference and all that coming up soon then we headed over to the
elders quorum presidents to go over the ward directory and found out
that he got engaged a few weeks ago! Then we made our way home.
Friday: well today we were running around passing by members on the
ward list and we went to knock on the door and right then the man came
over said high opened the door and let us in so now they said they are
going to start coming back to church! Then we had a lesson with Devi
and we gave her a baptismal date for the 2nd of April so that should
be great. Then correlation and English class! Then the noche hogar!!
Saturday: well we went to pass by old converts and found Dario so that
was good but we'll have to talk about the wow. Then went to Pedro's
where the made bday cebichiue for me and a cake then we had a lesson
with flor a less active who said she is coming to church tomorrow
which is so great. Then lots of contacting for the rest of the night!
Sunday: well today at church a less active member gave a talk about
the importance of reading the scriptures it was surprisingly a really
good talk. Then in gp we talked about baptism which was perfect sense
Devi was there it was absolutely wonderful. Then in priesthood we
talked about coming unto Christ in all we do. Then we had lunch with a
member and we had fish it was the best. Then we taught a girl in the
ward English and just gave yamil a bad time about his gf in Denmark!
Then it was time to head back home!
Monday: well today we went to the paradox museum for pday which was
super fun. Just got to go around and look at all the great art! Then
we went to McDonald's for lunch which was alright. Then went to Zara
which is a suit place so elder Kirby could look at suits then we went
to the football factory so elder lords and elder Kirby could look at
soccer jerseys so that was fun and we passed a foot locker store so me
an elder arroyo were really happy to stop for a second and look at
basketball shoes.
Then it was time to head back to the church so I had the chance to
email all of you which was so entirely wonderful. Then it was off to
go and try to get more references from street contacting so that was
good got a few new references from it.
Tuesday: today we had a lesson with D_ about courage where we
shared the story of Esther which was great he has been trying to share
the gospel and knows the lord has something planned for him he just
hasn't figured it out. He is also trying to find a special someone
that he can take to the temple and be sealed to so if any of you know
any awesome 50 year old woman that are looking for a great guy give
him a call haha. Then we had a lesson with S_and D_ about
how we have the gospel in our lives as hands to help us through hard
times to demonstrate this principle place Oreo on top of the forehead
try to eat the Oreo with out using your hands taking a while can't do
it well guess what now you can use your hands that is why we have
prayer the church and the scriptures to help us use the help of gods
hands in our life. Then we had a Contact battle where we met this
Dominican man who told us about a miracle in his life and then he
spoke English with us for a bit! Then I managed to get two young girls
to stop because elder Kirby doesn't like to talk to 18 to 20 year old
girls about the gospel but very one needs to hear the gospel.
Wednesday: today was intercambios with elder chabot which was great
started off by going to pass by Calistoga but he wasn't home and the
whole ward is really worried about him. Then we had district meeting
where we focused on the importance of the Book of Mormon in our
lessons. Then it was on to dominos for lunch. Then we had a lesson
with D_ and her family which was awesome we talked about how to
personalize the Book of Mormon to ourselves as we read it. Then we had
a lesson with R_ about repentance and forgiveness.
Thursday: today we had a lesson with De_about not living below your
privileges as a child of God our next visit we are going to put her on
a baptismal date. Then we had a lesson with M_ this is the
Dominican guy from earlier in the email so at first it almost turned
into a bible bashing session luckily not though his problem was there
were no scriptures to relate back to the Book of Mormon and elder
Kirby agreed with him and even though there's at least two the stick
of ephriam and the stick of Judah. Out for over a year and you don't
know that the bible has metaphors about the Book of Mormon oh well.
Then we had a noche hogar type thing where we ate hotdogs and talked
about baptism and the wonderful commitment we make at baptism to
follow Jesus Christ.
Friday: well today was a day full of contacting. So that was super
great got a few new numbers so that was absolutely amazing! Then there
was ingles class which went super good. Then the noche hogar. Where we
watched meet the Mormons and that was super great and then headed home
so we didn't get in late!
Saturday: well today was intercambios with the zone leaders so that
was alright. Then all the six lessons we had through out the day all
failed but that left lots of time for contacting which was great. Then
we had a lesson with a member about the Book of Mormon and the bought
us churros and we had hot chocolate. Then back to the piso to talk
about the transfers. Staying in b3 with elder Kirby and we will be
training someone from the mtc.
Sunday: well today was church and fast and testimony meeting which was
really good and then we talked about repentance in gospel principles
which went really well having a few investigators there then following
the spirit in elders quorum. Then there was a little girl getting
baptized but they got to the baptismal font and all the water drained
out so we had to wait another hour for the font to fill back up with
five different hoses so that was crazy and then she started crying and
didn't want to do it because the water was really cool and then she
had to do it twice because she didn't go all the way under. I felt so
bad for her but I don't think she will ever forget her baptism haha
well that was my great week love you all!!!
