Week 22 not feeling that great, but still working hard!!

Monday: well today started off with an amazing three hours of sala
football which was wonderful at first the team of natives won four
times in a row and then our them Which was mainly missionaries and a
native just destroyed and won ten straight it was awesome. Then Elder Lords wanted to go to McDonald's for lunch so I just got a small
hamburger and an ice cream cone because it was super hot out for some
reason. Then we got to email which was wonderful. Then our lesson
failed but that was alright cause you know what that means more time
for contacting which is one of my favorite things ever!

Tuesday: Today started off with heading over to abuelitas to do some
service so I'm expecting panting walls or moving furniture all the
stereotypical things of service little did I know that is not what she
had planned at all, however it was one of my favorite service projects
yet we got to cut out two hundred hearts and decorate them for ward
conference that is this Sunday. Then we had a lesson with M_
about family history and temple work since she has almost reached her
year mark in the church and she is getting super excited to be able to
do more in the temple so that is super. Then we had a lesson
with D_ and F_ about the importance of reading the scriptures
and they said that they will try to come to church this Sunday so that
would be super awesome! Then had a lesson with A_ and J_
about the priesthood because A_ is going to receive the Aaronic
priesthood and he is getting really excited about helping with the
sacrament so that is super awesome so All in all it was an amazing
day.

Wednesday: today started with a lesson with a new investigator Y_
who is from Ecuador and has two young boys. With her we talked about
the restoration a lot and we had our recent convert there to help with the
lesson and she shared how it was hard for her to join the church
because her husband wouldn't  support her so then D_ shared his
story about being the first in his family to join the church and in
doing so is trying to make a path for them to follow in his footsteps.
We also had district meeting which was good the focus was on new ways
to teach so each companionship was in charge of coming up with an
object lesson to share so that went really well. Then we did some more
contacting found a few people who were willing to listen. And an
evangelical that thought we believed Joseph Smith was god so that was
interesting. Then we had a lesson with D_ and F_ to finish the
day where we focused on the importance of reading the scriptures and
coming to church.

Thursday: Today was intercambios with elder lords. Well it started off
by having to end studies early to go to an appointment that ended up
not being home so that was a little annoying since we got a member to
come with us and everything. Then we met with D_at 1 and his stories are
still the same he still doesn't feel the love and the support
from the ward that he has been looking for so that's tough so we
talked about how gods perspective matters more then mans. Then we had
a lesson with De_and she wants and knows the next step is baptism
but she says something is keeping her from making that step, but she
won't tell us so that's really our only road block with her before
baptism. Then we had a lesson with Ad_ where all we did was talk
about fear because he was saying all men have fear and then we went on
to explain that fear comes with not having a full understanding or
knowledge. After all look at the anti nephi lehites they had no fear
of death because the had a complete knowledge of the plan of salvation
and there standing of God. So that was an interesting conversation to
say the least. Then found 5 new people that we can teach and then
elder lords contacted a young girl and we got her number and he
thought it was a sin haha that was super funny.

Friday: today we had an eating appointment where we had arroz con
chinche not sure what all was in it but it was super great. I've been
having massive headaches a sore throat chills and muscle aches for the
past couple days so elder Kirby asked if I wanted to stay in and rest
so I said no it's not like I'm throwing up or anything. First we ran
into a catholic man who wanted to argue about how our church was wrong
so elder Kirby got into a bible bash with him I don't know why he does
that a lot when people say something that's incorrect about the church
when he could just bear his testimony nicely and tell them to have a
good day but oh well. Then it was time to head to the chapel for a
lesson that didn't  end up making it because of the rain so that was
to bad. Then we had correlation and then Dan_ and Am_ taught us
English because they wanted to be the teachers it was pretty
adorable. Then the noche hogar where we talked about reverence then time
to head home.

Saturday: today was mostly contacting which was great. So started the
day off by making phone calls to set up a few appointments for next
week which was great. Then we had an eating appointment with the R_
family which was super wonderful which was delicious fajitas. Then it
was off to go do some more contacting in the street where we found
this woman who's family is members in Paraguay and when she stopped
and talked with us she showed us pics of them at the temple and church
and said she wanted to meet with us but she doesn't live in our area
so sadly we had to pass the reference on to other missionaries. Then we met an evangelical guy
who wanted to bible bash about the Book of Mormon so we just bore our
testimonies to him and left him with a card and the scripture John
10:16. Then we had to run back to the piso so we didn't get home late.

Sunday: today was ward conference, well the stake president talked
about church callings and how no calling is more important then
another. Then we got a new bishop after our last bishop has been
serving for 6 years in the calling I bet his wife is glad that she
finally gets a little help during sacrament with their two year old
son that likes to run wild a lot of the time. Then we sang in the
choir so that was fun. Then in gp we studied about faith so that was
really neat especially with De_ there. Then in priesthood we talked
about reverence and one of the newest elders said we should express
the same reverence we do in the temple in sacrament meeting after all
both places are the house of the lord. Then to finish the day we had a
lesson on the restoration with D_ and F_ which was great they
know the church is true we just need to get them to come. Well that
was my amazing week here in the Spain madrid mission hope every one
else's week was a blast as well your great friend Elder,
