other elders which was really fun and just nice to go And run around a
lot and play some sports. Then after that we went and got something to
drink at the grocery store then went to email. Then after that we had
a few lessons set up the first one failed so we contacted for a bit
with out to much success. Then had a great lesson with D_ and
F_ about expressing our love to God through following the Ten
Commandments so that went really well we are building our way up to
the word of wisdom and helping him with his alcohol problem. Then it
was back home to plan for the intercambio with elder lords tomorrow so
that should be good.
Tuesday: well today was intercambios with elder lords which was great
he is one of my favorite people he's such a hard worker and never gets
down on him self we always turn missionary work into hard work but
call it missionary fun. Started off with contacting our way over to
the church which was good we got three new references which were great
and then this lady that was super sweet talked to us in English for a
bit so that was fun. Then when we got to the church our lesson failed
on us so then we went to our eating appointment where we learned how
to make a members famous hamburgers which was very delicious then back
to the church to wait for our next lesson that ended up failing us any
way. Then we found a giant grass hopper and caught it and cooked it up
with some butter and ate it haha it wasn't to bad lol. Then later we
had a lesson with A_ and J_ where A_ said and asked if
he can get baptized this Sunday so that was great and then we had to
go back to the piso because an elder in our district got emergency
transfer up north because a missionary is really sick so now we are
in a trio for the week.
Wednesday: well today is the big day A_ baptismal interview
but first we had a few lessons that we helped elder chabot with so
that was good and then we went over to A_ house for the
baptismal interview today so that was great and elder robledo did the
interview it was his first one so that was cool and then we planned
the bAptism and he said he wants me to baptize him so that was a
really cool experience. Then it was back to the piso to grab some
stuff for English class and then to the church for English which I
kind of use as a Spanish class haha. So that's always nice then back
to the piso to plan.
Thursday: today we had a couple lessons met with A_ again to
finish planning the baptism so that was really great. Then it was on
to check on the reservation for Saturday so that's all good and set up
now. Then we helped elder chabot with a few lessons and then it was to
the church to meet with V_. V_ is a new investigator that
doesn't like the past missionaries that were here because when they got
white washed they didn't call him or the other missionaries so he has
a bad impression of missionaries so we are trying to fix that so
that's going good so it was a pretty good day.
Friday: just a big full day of contacting then correlation and then
English class then the noche hogar all which went really well. In
correlation we had C_ convinced that elder cuevas was just in the
bathroom so that was funny then he didn't believe us when we told him
that we were joking and that elder cuevas got emergency transferred up
north. Then he was joking that now that he is gone we are starting to
have all the baptisms haha because we have one this week and so do the
hermanas. Then it was on to English class where we went over verbs in
past tense. Then elder chabot gave a great spiritual thought about
keeping the commandments and then had the noch hogar on faith by the
young men and they did a great job!!!
Saturday: today started off with going over to A_ house to
pick him up but he had to finish his chores so we just brought all of
the baptismal clothes to his house for him to try on so that was fun.
Then it was on to abuelitas for lunch so that was really great. Then
it was on to soccer with the ward and investigators which went really
well J_ and A_ showed up. It was really cool because I had two
crosses to A_ that he scored on and I scored two goals and had three
more assists but the ones to A_ were the best and it was cool to see
him and his brother having fun and talking and making friends. Then we
had a lesson with V_ about the Rico joven because they work on
Sunday so we talked about as we sacrifice God will bless us.
Sunday: well today was absolutely great in church one of the youth
gave his first talk and he did great. Then someone talked about the
power of fasting which was really good. Then in gospel principles we
talked about making covenants. Then talked about faith and tithing for
faith Sunday then on to the baptism where A_ grandpa gave a great
talk on baptism the spirit was just so incredibly strong it was
amazing then it was on to the baptism where I didn't mess up on the
words surprisingly so that was good although he almost slipped when I
was bringing him back up and almost didn't go all out he way under but
we got it done in one try. Then he bore his testimony about how he
felt happier then he has ever felt before and how he feels like he
just came a lot closer to God. Then we went to J_ to surprise
hermana west for a going a way celebration and dinner so that was
great so as you can see it has been a super amazing week love you all.
